Free online magazine miniatures > Pay in-store magazine miniatures (which could contain a stolen code)
If they are going to continue offering miniatures in mags that are limited to certain countries, then they might as well just add the pet key to the online store a month later (so the mag has its shelf time).

Anything, even one or two years later, would be cool.
It's like with mobile phones, exclusivity do not last long. After a while, anyone can get anything.
That fits much more the GW spirit.
We should not fall in many other RPG sins, that make people fall in greed and grind.

europeans had a VERY small chance of getting a mini from the 1000 series giveaways, unlike the american destroyer offer.
also the equivalent of germans being able to trade in their asura code for a destroyer code is like a few states in america being able to trade in their destroyers for something different, whilst it did ease the pain of paying so much for a chance at minipet lottery, the rest of europe didnt get that.
so i think its highly unfair to say that the WHOLE of europe was appeased for paying £6 for each mag JUST because germans were able to trade in asuras for destroyers.
no. a large fraction of us europeans were not able to get anything at all in the end. no 1000 series mini. no extra asura, no trade-in-destroyer, no pet....just empty and unsatisfied pockets.
and as for the ceratadons, as word got to the forums, both europeans and americans alike got a good share of the minis. just go look at the american kamadan dists, it was full of people trying to sell the ceratadon. plus, even me, as a european, i go to the guildwars.com and not eu.guildwars.com - so i didnt exactly get a "head start".

Dude, most of the magazines that come with a miniature, are really good things to read. Loads of content, a DVD, how could you NOT like it? :P

So give thanks that at least you got something, and something is better than nothing at all.
